That's more being spent on concrete underground than the cheaper Waffle Pod Slab on top. I'm not familiar with the building industry but I am familiar with commercial contracts and I know when I'm being taken for a ride. The list of inconsistencies and contradictions in Clarendon's quote is mind boggling. None of the changes we wanted on the property were not included. I highly doubt that there is a single Clarendon property built that doesn't included at least $15k+ for piering.

We received an email from Clarendon Homes informing us that a 6 months inspection was due and to advise if there is anything that needs rectifying. We responded with a short email advising that there are a few minor cracks on skirting boards, couple of dents on walls from moving in, nothing major. Prompt response from Clarendon informed us that Adam is assigned to attend the house and fix outlined issues on date specified.

You have no rights to keep the tender deposite as you have done no work after we paid the money. We are really hopeful that the great experience we already had with Clarendon Homes Pre-construction will continue even after completion. This issue has been addressed with the QLD Operations Manager and is currently with the NSW office. We are very sorry to read about your boundary pegs and would like to look into that matter further. Our Clarendon Lifestyle Studio consultant was straight up incompetent - there is no other way to put it. So many errors were made that I cannot fathom how they still have a job, errors were even made in correcting other errors! It delayed everything and really put a sour note on what has been a great experience, luckily our pre construction consultant was able to assist and resolve some of the errors and omissions. The colour selection process was managed efficiently and courteously by Clarendon staff, who explained our options clearly to us. We are 100% satisfied with the whole process from the day one.

We have just completed handover with Clarendon after building a Boston.
